Hearts of Oak to loss prospect Daniel Afriyie Barnieh after interest from French side Amiens

Hearts of Oak winger Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has been invited for trials at Amiens SC and is set to travel to France ahead of what could see him secure a move in the January transfer window.

The forward captained the Ghana U-20 team to the WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations tournament earlier this month.

After playing a key role for the side, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh went on to score in the final against Burkina Faso to inspire a 2-1 comeback win for the Black Satellites team to eventually be crowned champions.

It now appears his performance at the tournament and his exploits at Hearts of Oak in the past year have attracted interest from Europe and Africa.

According to Kumasi-based Light FM, Amiens SC has sent an invitation letter to Hearts of Oak giving the attacker the chance to come and trial for his potential signing.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is expected to travel to the French Ligue 2 club next month, and should the Ghanaian International impress, he would be signed in the January transfer window.
