Kevin De Bruyne makes mockery of Jadon Sancho transfer money amid move to Manchester United or Chelsea

Jadon Sancho has been tipped to joined either Manchester United or Chelsea when the summer transfer window opens but is reported that the English International looks likely to make Old Trafford his next destination if he leaves Borussia Dortmund.

Three years ago, the 20 year-old was at United’s rivals Manchester City camp but failed to adopt to life at the Etihad Stadium before completing a move to the German BundesLilag in 2017.

Since arriving at the Signal Iduna Park, he has been a revelation not only for Borussia Dortmund but for the entire BundesLilga competition, and his form this season is beyond imagination, involving in 70 goals out of 84 outings for Dortmund in the Champions League and league.

His form this season has not put European elite clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea in their peaceful state of mind as these clubs have had sleepless night over the English boy.

Chelsea and Manchester United are understood to leapfrog Spanish opponents Barca and Real Madrid in Sancho’s transfer race as the two Premier clubs are prepared to bring the former City teenager back to the EPL.

But the money that is required to complete the transfer, reported around £130million as Dortmund valuation for Sancho, has generated so many talks across the European landscape, and it will be financially deteriorating for Manchester United and Chelsea to sign the Dortmund star.

The English clubs could have bought Sancho less than this amount when he was at City three years ago. And Kevin De Bruyne who was once Sancho’s team-mate at City has make mockery, during Instagram live chat with Belgium team-mates, about the price interested clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea need to pay to sign Sancho.

Speaking on Instagram Live with his Belgian team-mates Romelu Lukaku and Axel Witsel, de Bruyne said: “He is crazy. It’s weird, I trained a few times with him and he was gone – unbelievable.

“Sometimes it goes like this but it is good for him. Now if you want him you have to pay… I don’t want to know!”

According to reports from inside Old Trafford, raising fund to meet this value wouldn’t be a problem for Manchester United as they are ready to weight their check books to sign the winger, and that gives them the up hand over Premier League rivals Chelsea- who are not ready to sign Sancho at that high price less Dortmund lower the asking price.
