Premier League admission made by Chelsea target Lucas Vazquez amid move to West London

Chelsea continue to be linked with a host of top talents in world football despite the midst of football suspension from coronavirus pandemic.

The West Londons though knee signing players this summer, however, they have been associated with many transfer targets than vacancies at Stamford Bridge can even contain.

And Real Madrid ace Lucas Vazquez is among latest players to be associate with a move to Stamford Bridge ahead of summer transfer window.

The Madrid winger who was part of Los Blanco’s four Champions League-winning sides has been left out in Zidane’s eleven and this may be due to this season’s exploit of Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo and the inclusion of Eden Hazard in attacking lines at Santiago Bernabeu.

The 28-year-old has revealed admiration for the Premier League and finds it very attractive to ‘fit his characteristics and personality well.”

“The dream is to retire at Madrid but in football, you don’t know,” Vazquez told The Guardian.

“When I was little, I always watched the Premier League with my brother. It was, it is, very attractive: a nice football to play, one that could fit my characteristics and personality well.”

Starting his career at Real Madrid, he made his first-team debut in 2015 after a season on loan at Espanyol. He made his La Liga debut with the latter, and won several major honours with the former including three Champions Leagues and the 2017 national championship.

He has been tracked by EPL clubs for the past two seasons where Liverpool, Manchester United, City and Arsenal are reportedly shown interest in signing the winger within the course of two years now.

Arsenal were interested in completing a double deal for Jani Ceballos and Vazquez before the start of this season but the Gunners only managed to agree a loan deal for the former.
