Manchester United receive Paul Pogba future boost as Juve planning cancel move for French International

Paul Pogba has consistently failed to show commitment to Manchester United this season due to his ankle problems that have kept the French International out of many United games this term.

He has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford with Real Madrid and Juventus reportedly consistently to be Pogba’s next possible destinations.

Both Real Madrid and Juve are reportedly interested in the Manchester United midfielder as they appear the likeliest clubs who can take care of Pogba’s mouth-watering wages.

However, reports from Italy claim Juve knee abandoning plans to move for the 2018 World Cup winner because the Old Ladies are no longer in good financial position to afford Pogba’s wages.

With the coronavirus pandemic affecting almost every aspect of the world economy, clubs in Europe are bound to suffer the detrimental economic impacts of the outbreak and Juve are no exception.

Pogba salary demands  put him in the same category of Cristiano Ronaldo’s and that is poised to provide an obstacle for Juventus in signing their former player this summer.

Juve Sporting director Fabio Paratici has now claim the 27-year old could not command the same wages as Cristiano Ronaldo following the coronavirus crisis – and the director indicated that”fewer clubs” will be prepared to fork out money for extortionate wages.

“Pogba is a great player, but logically the salary demands someone of his level would’ve had before is now more difficult to get hold of, or at least he’ll have fewer clubs prepared to pay that money,” Paratici told Sky Sport Italia via Football Italia.

The 27-year old French International meanwhile has provided updates on his recovery to full fitness after going for surgery in January 2020. Pogba has revealed started running and even kicking the ball in what may be a positive news for Manchester United supporters.

“I have a little home gym in my house,“ Pogba told United’s official website. ”I can do some training, some running, some bike, go outside and do some things with the ball. I am just keeping busy and keeping healthy.

“We have got to stay motivated, there is no other choice. It is a period and we don’t know until when it will be like this, but I still have goals in my head and one day hopefully this [pandemic] will stop.

“And then we have to get back on the pitch, so we have to be ready. For myself, I have been out for a long time as well, so for me I just want to come back playing football.”
