Nemanja Matic set to sign new two year deal at Manchester United as contract extension talks open |

Manchester United have open negotiations with Nemanja Matic to see the Serbian extend his stay to two additional seasons, meaning until 2022 if he signs.

The Serbian midfielder was set to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season as a free man where reports have cited that the former Chelsea man has already open talks with clubs across Europe over a possible move.

However, a sudden improvement in form has earn him a new consideration in the hands of Ole as Manchester United are currently in talks to offer Matic a two-year contract extension.

According to The Sun, Matic will see his weekly salary rise from £120,000 to £140,000 if he signs the new two year deal.
