Chelsea are close to completing a deal for Hartlepool goalkeeper Brad Young.
That’s according to The Sun, who claim a ‘provisional fee’ has been agreed between the two parties.
Young, 17, has spent the last two weeks on trail with the Premier League side, who was also closely followed by Manchester United and Arsenal.
“He’s been linked with everyone!” Hartlepool boss Dave Challinor said recently. “There has absolutely been dialogue and not just with Chelsea, there has been dialogue with six or seven what I would call the top, top Premier League clubs.”
