Real Madrid make Sadio Mane aware of interest amid summer move for the Liverpool forward

Sadio Mane is one of the stars Liverpool fans don’t expect to leave Anfield anytime soon but there is a break of transfer rumour from Spanish capital claiming Real Madrid’s interest in the Senegalese International.

Mane has reached a high peak for the past two seasons at Liverpool helping the Reds to lift the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and reaching the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt.

Given his exceptional contributions to Jurgen Klopp’s side, Real Madrid now wants to trade the services of the Liverpool forward, and according to the Mirror, Real Madrid have contacted the striker to inform him that they have tipped him to make a switch from Anfield to Santiago Bernabéu in the summer.

Zidane is believed to be preparing once again to enter into a busy activity in the summer window after snatching up Eden Hazard from Chelsea and Eintracht Frankfurt‘s Luka Jovic in big money moves before the start of the season.

The manager’s ability to bring in new additions, purposely to strengthen his attacking lines as Futball Surgery understand, can be hampered by the number of surplus to requirement present at the club and the French trainer has no doubt in overhauling his current squad to embark on Mane transfer.

Gareth Bale, Isco, Luka Modric and Brahim Diaz could be axed at the end of the season and Hazard’s injury problems give the Los Blancos’ boss the power to bring Mane to Real Madrid.

The report from the Mirror further suggests that Real Madrid officials have already spoken with Mane’s representatives, and have made the reps of the Senegalese sensation aware of Real Madrid’s interest.

The Spanish side have been impressed with Mane’s development under Jurgen Klopp and now want to bring him to Spain.

Despite Madrid’s interest, Mane is contracted at Liverpool until 2023, and is believed that the Merseyside club are preparing to offer the Senegalese a new long-term contract that see Sadio Mane earn £11.5million a year in a bid to convince the Senegal striker to extend his stay at Anfield to 2025.
