Simba complete signing of winger Augustine Okrah from Bechem United
Tanzanian giants Simba SC have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian attacker Augustine Okrah from Bechem United for an undisclosed amount.
Simba reached an agreement with the Ghanaian club for the services of the experienced winger ahead of the 2022-23 season about a month ago.

Okrah has signed a two-year contract with the Lions of Msimbazi in the after passing his medical examination and all personal terms agreed few weeks aback.
The 28-year-old returned to Bechem at the beginning of the 2021-22 campaign after parting ways with Asante Kotoko SC.
He has been lethal for the Hunters this season since he rejoined them where he has scored 14 goals in 32 matches in the Ghana Premier League with Bechem finishing at the 3rd position, the club’s best position in the Ghanaian top-flight.
Okrah has also been instrumental for Bechem having helped them reach the finals of the FA Cup as he scored a screamer in the semi-finals against Aduana Stars. He scored 3 goals in 5 games in the cup competition.
He was top scorer of the Ghana Premier League in the 2013-14 season with 16 goals during his first stint with Bechem.
Okrah later moved to Swedish side BK Hacken on loan before joining Sudanese giants Al Merreikh the following year. He crossed carpet to join rivals Al Hilal Omdurman after a season.
He has also played for NorthEast United in India and Egyptian side Smouha SC. Like many top African clubs, Simba have entered into the transfer market for strategic reinforcements ahead of the new season with Caf competition a major priority.
The Tanzanian giants had looked into the Ghana Premier League in bid to lure Suraj Seidu, Fatawu Mohammed, Mohammed Alhassan all from Hearts of Oak and Ghanaian top scorer Yaw Annor.
The 2021-2022 second placed side have also been linked with players in Zambia, South Africa, Dr. Congo and Mozambique but have had a breakthrough in Ghanaian International Okrah.
