Medeama fight back to earn vital away point after holding Liberty Professionals to a 1-1 draw at Carl Raindorf Park

Liberty Professional sat at home Carl Raindorf Park to record their third draw in all but a second home draw in the Ghana Premier League against Medeama SC on Saturday afternoon.

Medeama have also seen their winning streaking cut off by Liberty after James Boadu’s men managed to come from a goal down to secure a vital away point at the Carl Raindorf Park.

Both team struck in the second half of the game with Liberty striking first few minutes after restart. Abraham Wayo won a penalty for the Scientific Soccer Lads before Elvis Kyei Baffour stepped in to convert the penalty.

Medeama equalized midway in the second half when they broke on counter which saw substitute Nana Kofi Babil from a decent position poking the ball into the net.

Medeama are top on the league table with 7 points but will have to wait the results of Aduana Stars who welcome King Faisal to the Agyemang Badu Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
