Mitchelle Sarpong lone strike for Hearts of Oak sink Togolese side Etoile Filante in Lome
As part of their preparations towards to 2019-2020 season, Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak traveled to Togo to engage neighbours Etoile Filante on Friday.
Despite anticipating a difficult game before they even made the trip, the Ghanaian giants run away with a 1-0 win over the Togolese side in International club friendly.
Hearts managed to break the game’s deadlock in the first half with Mitchelle Sarpong grabbing the only goal for the away side.
Hearts will shift their focus to next weekend’s President’s Cup match against rivals Asante Kotoko on December 15 in Accra.
