Libya vs Niger confirmed lineups, African Nations Championship (CHAN) Group B opener

Libya and Niger have both named a strong eleven in CHAN Group B opener at Japoma Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The delayed tournament started yesterday as host Cameroon beat Zimbabwe narrowly before Mali recorded their first victory against Burkina Faso later Saturday evening.

Now is the turn of last edition’s fourth place side Libya who welcome Niger to Group B opener of the 2021 CHAN competition in a bid to repeat their semifinals record.

Libya boss El Margini named the likes of Al-Madina shot-stopper Ahmed Azzaqa in posts as key men Elhouni, Hamid, Shadi, Makari and Daboos all face Niger in this opener.

Mohamed Elhouni- the brother of Esperance de Tunis star Hamdou Elhouni played for Al-Ittihad after completing a deal from Al-Ahly Tripoli in 2017.

On the other hand, Niger manager Jean-Michel Cavalli tips experience Marou to lead the line with support from Moussa, Goumey and Issa Djibrilla.
