The LONDON CLASH: Ghana duo Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak name squad ahead of super clach in London
Ghanaian duo Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak who together have combined 44 Ghana Premier League titles face each other at Barnett Sports Stadium in London to make a history of the first time the two sides play outside Ghana.
This match comes as part of Ghana’s 63rd Independence Day Ceremony, and it has become politically sound to honor this game in the former colonial masters homeland to rekindle the remembrance of colonial ties in style when Gold Coast (now modern Ghana) gained independence in 1957.
Both clubs of Asante Kotoko and their brothers in rivalry Hearts of Oak have named their contingent for the game which takes place 7th day of next month.
Contingents include players, technical staffs and club officials. Kotoko and Hearts released 31-man contingent on Friday afternoon to begin traveling arrangements.
