EXCLUSIVE: Inter Allies striker Victorien Adebayor emerges as a transfer target for six European clubs

Victorien Adebayor has appeared a transfer target for six unnamed European clubs as confirmed by club Inter Allies where Adebayor now plays for.

Victorien Adebayor, Nigerian, has been astonishing for Inter Allies after joining the Ghana Premier League side in 2017 following his impressive display in the 2017 WAFU tournament hosted by Ghana.

Many transfer offers have tempted the Niger International to leave his current post, starting from 2018 where clubs across the African continent like ZESCO United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Young Africans and Simba Club from Tanzania were interested in giving Adebayor a new life.

However, Adebayor stayed with Inter Allies and has now took the Ghana Premier League under his feet, grabbing 11 goals in 10 Premier League games to stand out as the 2019-2020 Ghana Premier current top scorer. He has emerged MVP five times and registered 5 assists in the league.

According his club Inter Allies, six clubs from Europe and one each from UAE and Saudi Arabia have finally entered a race to sign the Ghana Premier top scorer.

It is understood that Adebayor’s agent and the clubs have already started negotiations which would see the Allies striker make a switch from the Ghana Premier League before even the first round ends.

Despite the high chances of Victorien Adebayor departing for Europe, there is equally high demand for his services in the local scene.

Ghana Premier giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have all been keeping eyes on the Inter Allies forward.

Both clubs are struggling in the Premier League but with the former especially struggling to get the goals from its striking department, where the strikers have a combined of three league goals, more than three times lower than what Adebayor has offered Inter Allies this season so far.

Kotoko and Hearts are believed to monitoring Adebayor’s situation, and if a transfer away from Ghana fails they could weight up their check books to make a bumper offer to sign the Niger International.
