Jordan Ayew stoppage time strike hands Crystal Palace all three points against West Ham on Boxing Day, Dede Ayew scores a consolation for Swansea City

Crystal Palace welcomed West Ham to the Selhurst Park on Boxing Day whiles Palace came from behind to collect all three points. West Ham were up by 1-0 early in the second half following Robert Snodgrass 57’ minute strike.

Cheikhou Kouyate drew Crystal Palace on level on 68’ minute before Jordan Ayew struck in stoppage time to get Crystal Palace back to winning ways having lost to Newcastle United last Saturday.

Jordan received a pass inside his opponents’ box, the Black Stars forward controlled beautifully before lofting the ball beyond Roberto Jiménez on the 90’ minute.

In the Championship, Swansea City were thrashed by 3-1 by Brentford, however Andre Ayew grabbed Swans’ only consolation 65 minutes into the game. Bryan Mbeumo on the 25th minute and Ollie Watkins five minutes later ended the first half 2-0 for Brentford.

Black Stars captain Dede Ayew cancelled one out for Swansea before Ollie Watkins rapped the victory for Brentford on the 88’ minute.

Today’s goal send Andre’s tally to 9 goals in the English Championship, 11 across all competitions so far, and five of all his goals have come in his last four Championship games.
