Liverpool returns to action in the Premier League on Boxing Day after winning their first FIFA Club World Cup last Saturday, with emphatic 4-0 win over second place Leicester City at King Power Stadium on Thursday evening.

Rob Firmino grabbed a double on 31st and 74th minutes before a goal each from James Milner converting a penalty on 71st mark and stunning shot inside the right edge of the box from Trent Alexander-Arnold rapped the scoring spree for the World Champions.

This victory has accelerated Liverpool’s chase for their first EPL title in 27 years, but their 19th League Championship in 29 years since winning their 18th League title in 1989-1990 season under Kenny Dalglish, now leading the EPL table with 52 points, 13 more point above Leicester City.
