Egyptian Football Association announces Mohamed Salah availability for Senegal WC playoff
The Egyptian Football Association reassured the national team fans, stating that Mohamed Salah will be fit to play Senegal games in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Salah was substituted moments after scoring Liverpool’s second goal against Brighton last Saturday, having hurt his foot earlier in the match.
The Egyptian’s fall got Liverpool fans worried as the league’s top scorer will potentially miss the Arsenal game tomorrow.
However, Egyptians were even more worried as the national team captain could be missing Senegal games in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Fortunately, EFA spokesman Walid El-Atar confirmed that Salah’s injury is a minor one and he will be 100% fit to play Senegal games on the 25th and 29th of this month.
