What contract renewal message Egyptian International Tarek Hamed sent to Zamalek

Egypt international and Zamalek midfielder Tarek Hamed sent a cryptic message to the White Knights board in a social media post.

Tarek Hamed has been one of Zamalek’s most consistent performers since joining them from Smouha during the summer of 2014.

The 32-year-old has made 266 appearances with Zamalek, winning ten trophies, including two Egyptian Premier League titles, to write his name as one of the club’s legends.

Over the years, Hamed gathered a lot of interest from teams in the region with Saudi and Emirati sides constantly getting in touch with his representatives for a potential moves.

Egyptian sports agent Ahmed Abbas also claimed that the Egypt international was on the verge of moving to the English Premier League.

With his contract expiring in June of 2022, the Zamalek board is expected renew with the midfielder as it did with other key players such as Ahmed Sayed Zizo and Mahmoud El-Wensh.

However, it seems that there are some issues between him and the board after Hamed posted the following message on his Instagram account:

“The fans may know your value, while those in decision-making position don’t realize it until it is too late.”

It will be advisable for Zamalek to offer the Egyptian International amid keeping him ahead of next season.

They have the Premier League title to defend which will be very difficult after Al Ahly strengthening their squad to battle them.

Zamalek have also started reinforcing the setup and losing Tarek Hamed would one of the bad business  Carteron’s side would anticipate.
