Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane explains Glamour Boys problems after AmaZulu draw

Kaizer Chiefs were forced to a 0-0 home draw against AmaZulu and head coach Arthur Zwane has revealed what has been the biggest challenge for his side this season after dropping points on Saturday night.

Chiefs’ 100 percent home record came to an end on Saturday evening after drawing 0-0 with AmaZulu at the FNB Stadium.

Zwane explained that their main challenge was losing a couple of players to injuries and suspensions while they were finding their rhythm.

“We’re definitely getting there, yes the challenges would be when you think you’re getting it right then one or two players would be out and you have to reshuffle the team,” Zwane told SuperSport after the game.

“Yes that has been our challenge so far but I don’t think it’s something that we cannot work on or rectify. Yes, it’s gonna take some time to get better but the signs are there and the boys are responding positively.

“The only problem with this game is that we could have easily conceded from a dead-ball situation because that’s what they were looking for.

“And ja it wasn’t to be but I think we can do better. For me we didn’t get to gear number five, we always playing with gear number three, gear number four.

“It could have been better if we forced them to make even more mistakes but we can learn from this and focus on the positives, hopefully next game we’ll do better than this one.”

Kaizer Chiefs sit 12th position with 7 points on the PSL table after six games. They face Gallants away next week Sunday.
