Ghanaian footballer Majeed Ashimeru, who plays as a midfielder for Belgian club RC Anderlecht,  has made huge donations to his community Mamobi in the Greater Accra Region.

Through his foundation, the mercurial play-maker donated items worth over thousands of Cedis which include boxes of lipton, tin of milks and milos, beverages and more.

The main motive behind this kind gesture is to help the less privileged Muslims in the community where he was raised to also enjoy in this Holy Month of Ramadan.
The 24 year old has contributed to six goals in 31 matches so far in the season, netting three goals and registering three assists in the league.
The ex- WAFA star, was adjudged the player of the month for March at the Lotto Park and also made the Belgium Jupiler Pro League team of the month just recently.
The Purple and Whites is currently sitting 4th on the league log with 61 points after 33 matches and will play as guest to Kortrijk on Sunday.
