Four family members on admission at hospital following attack in Saboba community
Four people are currently receiving treatment at the Saboba government hospital in the Saboba District of the Northern region after they were attacked by some members of the same Community today 11th May 2022.
According to the report gathered, the perpetrators of the crime are the relatives of a man who was already arrested and arraigned by the law court in Yendi for allegedly assaulting someone in the same Community.
He was remanded in police custody and was asked to reappear in court on the 18th of May 2022.
However, the relatives of the suspects who should have been looking for a way to rescue their brother from police custody rather went and launch an attack on the family of the victim with cutlasses and sticks and inflict wounds on them and four persons were seriously injured.
This qualifies the saying that goes like “From Frying Pan To Fire”.
The incident happened at Gbenjak, a Community under the Saboba district.
