Nottingham Forest sign Jonjo Shelvey from Newcastle until 2025
Nottingham Forest have signed Jonjo Shelvey from Newcastle on a permanent transfer.
The midfielder’s two-and-a-half year deal keeps him at the City Ground until the summer of 2025.
Shelvey’s contract at St James’ Park was due to expire at the end of the season, which has led Steve Cooper’s side to move in for the midfielder.
The 30-year-old has made just three Premier League appearances for the Magpies this year after falling down the pecking order at the Tyneside club.
