Christian Eriksen: Manchester United agree deal in principle to sign Danish International on 3-year contract
Christian Eriksen and Manchester United have agreed on a 3-year deal pending player’s signature and medicals, according to reports in UK.
The Premier League side have been linked with several players this summer but none has arrived as at Monday 4th June 2022, only that the Old Trafford club could announced a deal for Dutch International Tyrell Malacia this week.
Erik ten Hag has already begun work at Carrington training center with no additions and appears to be handed a squad depletion instead after Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matić leaving the club.
United squad woes could further be worsen with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly willing to leave Old Trafford. With the club been aware of the situation, they are working at a faster rate to fill the gaps- which will specifically suits ten Hag’s preference.
The former Ajax boss has told Manchester United to get him the likes of Frenkie de Jong, Antony, Jurrien Timber, Malacia and Christian Eriksen to make his style of football so easy to achieve. United are said- according major UK sources, to have had a breakthrough in deals for De Jong and Malacia whom the two players have agreed a deal to join ten Hag’s side this summer.
Ten Hag has get a third player deal of his wishlist agreed as Christian Eriksen has agreed to join Manchester United on a three contract. Eriksen has also agreed personal terms with the EPL giants and will sign a 3-year deal that will see him remain at Old Trafford until June 2025. The Dane was a key figure for Brentford last season, providing four assists and scoring once with 30 key passes.
