Paul Pogba offered to Liverpool while Manchester City in Grealish bid

The summer transfer window is in full swing as Europe’s top clubs step up their efforts to sign and sell players.

Manchester United have surprised everybody – and even their own fans – by making two key deals early on in pre-season. Jadon Sancho has arrived from Borussia Dortmund for £73million, while Raphael Varane has agreed to join from Real Madrid and just needs to complete his medical.

Paul Pogba could be on the move though, which means United may be after another midfielder with Wolves’ Ruben Neves and Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga on their wishlist.

PSG want Pogba, but face a fight of their own to keep Kylian Mbappe in Paris… while Mino Raiola has reportedly been cheeky and offered Pogba to Liverpool. Never change, Mino.

United’s rivals Man City are similarly looking to make big moves, with Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Tottenham talisman Harry Kane their two key targets. As for Chelsea, they want Erling Haaland to lead their attack, with Sevilla’s Jules Kounde their preference for a defender.

Speaking of defenders heading to London, Ben White has completed a £50m move from Brighton to Arsenal and will be unveiled soon. The Gunners also want Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, and Hector Bellerin could be a makeweight. Lyon’s Bruno Guimaraes is being touted as a potential alternative to Manuel Locatelli, while Martin Odegaard could make a return – but it would cost over £40m.

Tottenham’s transfer activity will largely depend on whether on not Kane stays in north London, but Spurs have agreed a swap deal involving Sevilla’s Bryan Gil and Erik Lamela, while Crystal Palace have loaned Conor Gallagher from Chelsea.

As for Liverpool, Saul Niguez, Youri Tielemans and Nicolo Barella are targets with Jordan Henderson’s future unclear, while Trent Alexander-Arnold has signed a new four-year deal at Anfield.
