Accra Lions complete signing of defender Samuel Gyimah from Attram de Visser FC
Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions have announced the signing of defender Samuel Gyimah. Accra Lions survived relegation last season after placing 12th on the league table.

The capital side remained reluctant over the sale of their prize assets Abass Samari and Dominic Nsobila following interest from Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to boost their survival chances this season. However, they lost the services of first choice goal-keeper Frederick Asare to the Ghana Premier League champions.
They have already signed some new faces to strengthened their squad ahead of season’s opener against Kotoku Royals and Gyimah is the latest acquisition.
The 21-year-old joins the Accra-based club from lower-tier side Attram de Visser Sporting Club. Gyimah is seen as perfect replacement for defender Kassim Osman, who left for the United States to join Sporting Kansas City.
“Accra Lions is pleased to confirm the signing of 21-year-old central defender Samuel Gyimah from Attram de Visser Sporting Club,” wrote the club confirming the signing of the centre-back.
Accra Lions General Manager, Ishmael Hamidu expressed excitement over the signing of the youngster.
“As we are the youngest side in the Premier League, we need physically strong defenders like Samuel to be competitive,” he said.
Accra Lions will begin their 2022/23 season with a trip to Akim to play Kotoku Royals. Lions were one of the best possessive team last season and will be tasked to maintain that reputation.
