Asante Kotoko supporters ready to pay more than $100 for construction of new stadium
Asante Kotoko Supporters chief Christopher Damenya has disclosed that the supporters have bought into the idea of getting their own stadium and are ready to contribute.
Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah has proposed that he will be able to build a stadium for the club if 100,000 committed supporters are able to contribute $100 to the club.
Christopher Damenya in an interview indicated that most of the supporters are willing and ready to pay more than the $100 for the construction.
“A lot of people have called to take part. Some people are calling to pay more than that. So we are going to work on it”, he told Happy FM.
“We have the numbers and if all our supporters are ready to contribute, we can build a mini-stadium”, he added.
