Asante Kotoko confirm friendly with Belize national team
The Belize Football Federation last month, officially invited African giants, Asante Kotoko for an international friendly to be played in November this year.
As reported to you earlier, Asante Kotoko this morning have also released a statement to confirm the development and will be leaving the shores of Ghana for the international friendly in the middle of next month.
The Porcupine Warriors despite bowing out of the CAF Champions League, are looking to right all their wrongs before the GPL bounces back from the temporal hold.
They have four points in two matches so far in the league with a game in hand, and a win will see them climb to the summit of the table- a perfect mark that can get them on the right path to defending their championship.
Belize isn’t part of the giants in North American football but managed to cruise into the group stages of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2013, their best achievement so far in the competition and are yet to make an appearance at the FIFA World Cup.
The two time African conquerors are expected to honour the double friendlies against the Jaguars on November 18 and 20th, 2022 in their capital, Belmopan.
They will return into the country as soon as possible to take on Great Olympics in the ‘Ga-Mantse’ Cup on November 27, 2022 in the capital.
