Defender Samuel Mensah Tetteh thankful to former club Tema Youth after sealing move to Samartex
Ghana defender Samuel Mensah Tetteh has penned an emotional message to the former club Tema Youth for their unwavering support during his stay with them.
The 21-year-old has sealed a three-year contract with Ghana Premier League side, Samartex and is expected to play a huge role or the club in the Ghanaian top-flight.
The 21-year-old becomes the first signing of Samartex who are in the market searching for quality players for the new season.
Mensah had an amazing season in the Division One League last-term, prompting the Samartex to capture him.
“I thank leadership and the playing body of Tema Youth as well as my family for their support throughout my stay with the club” he said after joining Samartex.
Meanwhile, the defender has expressed his desire to help Samartex succeed in the upcoming season.
“I’m happy to sign for Samartex. We are not here to joke but to give our all for the club. I will plead with the fans to support and pray for us going into the new season”
