Fatawu Issahaku boldly makes worrying Dreams FC statement after draw against Eleven Wonders

Fatawu Issahaku has claimed that Dreams FC draw against Eleven Wonders should have turned into victory last Friday.

The Still Believe escaped Ohene Ameyaw Park with a 1-1 stalemate, but their danger-man was not happy after the game.

Fatawu Issahaku was far from pleased with his Dreams FC side’s display despite their 1-1 win at Eleven Wonders on Friday.

Dreams escaped Techiman with a point after Samuel Boakye’s second-half goal, with Abass Ganiu pulling parity in the 92nd-minute to equalize for the Sure Wonders.

Issahaku said Dreams were unlucky to score more goals while calling the draw “bad” after they maintained their hold on third place in the Ghana Premier League.

“Actually today we couldn’t get what we wanted because it was a draw game. I think we should have worked harder, like we should have gotten all the three points,” Issahaku said after the game.

“My coach {Vladislav Virić} gave me a task on the field so I was not trying to make just some shoot. So that was why I was not getting my target.” he concluded.

Issahaku was the first player to score Dreams FC opener of the season after netting in 3-1 loss to Asante Kotoko in matchday 1. The former Ghana U-20 International has been the most influential ace at Dreams FC with African clubs reportedly eyeing Issahaku.
