Bibiani Gold Stars forward Stephen Owusu fires warning ahead of Asante Kotoko clash

Bibiani Gold Stars attacker, Stephen Owusu says they are ready to fight for the three points against Asante Kotoko in Kumasi on Sunday.

Bibiani Gold Stars beat Medeama by a lone goal last weekend courtesy Stephen Owusu’s strike whiles Asante Kotoko held Bechem United to a goalless draw in Bechem.

Bibiani Gold Stars lost to Asante Kotoko in Bibiani by a lone goal through Isaac Oppong during the first round of the league season.

Speaking ahead of their trip to kumasi, Stephen Owusu was optimistic of victory in the clash with the Porcupine Warriors.

“We are new players that have come and I promised the fans that we will get at least four points in our last two matches and we got four points. I think going forward we are done with this and left it behind us.

“We’re going to kotoko. Kumasi Sports Stadium is not for anyone, but it’s for all of us. Whatever means we’ve to do to fight for the three points, we’re prepared to do that”

Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has announced his squad list for their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League match-week 20 game against Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday evening.

The Porcupines will take on the newly-promoted side at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in Ghana Premier League match-week 20 fixture.

Sarfo Taylor who arrived in Ghana on Saturday evening from Spain is out of the squad together with Isaac Oppong who’s nursing an injury.
