Bechem United head coach Kasim Mingle eyeing FA Cup glory against Hearts of Oak

Bechem United head coach, Kasim Ocansey Mingle has stated they are having a normal preparations and will definitely cruise to their second FA Cup triumph this weekend.

The Hunters will battle it out with the ‘Phobians’ in the league cup final- a clash the giants are hoping to win to end the season with at least a silverware, having lost the league to arc rivals Kotoko.

The winner of the FA Cup despite getting the bragging and the enviable trophy, will also have the opportunity to represent the country in the CAF Confederations Cup next season.
Speaking on Akoma FM in Kumasi, the experience talent developer has stated they are going into the game with normal preparations and will play their hearts out to have their hands gripped on the trophy.
“Preparations for the game are ongoing, we don’t want to put pressure on the boys.
“We have played with them in the league so the playing body knows them well, therefore we are doing normal preparation towards the game.”
“We won’t write them off as a result of their poor run of form currently. Hearts of Oak are no pushovers”
“Surely, we are winning on Sunday so I will urge all fans of Bechem to come to the stadium and support us lift the trophy.”
The final of the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup is slated for Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Bechem United won’t sell star Augustine Okrah

Bechem United gaffer, Kasim Ocansey Mingle has disclosed categorically clear that, his marksman Augustine Okrah will only leave the club when there is a foreign offer and won’t make any switch locally.

The 28 year old rejoined the Hunters prior to the start of the season and has really established himself once again as the supporter’s favourite at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

The ex- Al Hilal forward has netted 18 goals so far in all competitions, 14 in the league and 4 in the FA Cup of which they will face Hearts of Oak in the final on Sunday
In an interview on Akoma FM, the experience coach has hailed the impact of Okrah in his squad but added he will only be shipped out of the club when there is a lucrative offer from a foreign club.
“Okrah is a veteran in the league, if an opportunity comes for him to move abroad, definitely he has to go.”
“He has few years to play active football, we can’t block any move for him. If we receive a good offer that matches our expectation, we will allow him to move.”
“There are offers for him, If all issues concerning the deal goes through, Okrah will definitely leave. He will stay at Bechem should the deal collapse. He will only leave here (Bechem) for a foreign team.”
