Habib Mohammed: Former Asante Kotoko defender joins South African outfit Shekhukhune United on 3-year deal

Enterprising centre-back, Habib Mohammed has completed a switch to South African Premier League side, Shekhukhune United FC in the ongoing winter transfer window.

The 24 year old despite being a player of giants Asante Kotoko, has been with Dreams FC in the ongoing season on loan.

However, the ex- Black Meteors centre-back touched down in the city of Ekurhuleni alongside his agent and former footballer Yussif Chibsah to finalise the deal.
He has signed a three years contract after a fruitful negotiations which will keep him at the Makhulong Stadium until 2025.
He will now establish a new teammates including popular players like experience Willard Katsande and Zambian Justin Shonga who just joined the club in this second window.
Shekhukhune United after the first phase of the campaign, are currently sitting 8th on the DSTV Premiership standing with 25 points.
Habib Mohammed is likely to make his debut against Royal AM at the Chatsworth Stadium when the league resumes on February 15, 2022.
