Black Stars interim coach clashes with Ghanaian Journalist after Nigeria draw
Black Stars stop-gap coach Otto Addo floored a Ghanaian journalist who questioned about his secret tactics against Nigeria in the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs.
The Broussia Dortmund trainer expressed his disappointment in the journalist during the post-match press conference after a 0-0 draw with Nigeria.
Addo was umbraged with his question from the journalist and questioned his understanding of football.
According to the Journalist, the 46-year-old gaffer promised of a secret tactics ahead of the fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the first leg tie of the 2022 FIFA World Cup final play-off games.
“I don’t understand the question. It could be two, you don’t understand football because I think you saw that we played three at the back, did you see that?” Otto Addo angrily quizzed.
“Did you know, we were going to play with three [defenders]?. If you know then the secret plan didn’t work well,” He added.
The Black Stars of Ghana will make a trip to Abuja for the reverse fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday, 29th March, 2022.
Ghana is hoping to secure a positive result against Nigeria to secure one of Africa’s ticket to the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.
