Mamelodi Sundowns put 3 goals past Polokwane City to heatup PSL title race

Mamelodi Sundowns produced a stunning performance against Polokwane City on Wednesday to heatup race for Premier Soccer League title.

The Brazilians scored two first half goals to get the most important part of the game done before end of first 45 minutes with Ngcongca and Zwane grabbing 39′ and 44′ goals respectively.

Those goals was a reliefe for Pitso Mosimane’s men having realized league leaders Kaizer Chiefs have taken an early lead against Chippa United.

Sundowns continued to press, and the chances keep on falling the way of Brazilians but they could only add the third goal in stoppage time when Makgalwa scored on the 90+6 to send his side 3-0 up.

With Kaizer Chiefs bouncing back to winning ways with their slim victory over Chippa, Sundowns are level pegged on top of the log with superior goals difference in favor of Middendorp’s side seperating Chiefs from Downs.
