Thomas Partey thankful to healthcare professionals in the world working to save lives

Atletico Madrid and Ghana super star Thomas Partey feels thankful of health professionals working endlessly in the World’s battle against the coronavirus pandemic.

Over million people worldwide have contracted the coronavirus and approximately 60,000 have died from the covid-19 bug across the world.

But the pandemic has become more tensed in where the Ghanaian midfielder currently plays his football, Madrid as Spain is now the World’s second epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak with over 124,000 confirmed and the death toll standing at approximately 11,700.

The magnitude of spread is expected to cause a significant rise in covid-19 cases and deaths in Spain but thanks to healthcare professional who have demonstrated effective healthcare measures to reduce rate of spread and save lives in the country.

Partey is a witnessed to the efforts showed by health workers in Spain and the world at large, and taking to his Twitter and Instagram pages to thank all doctors, nurses and other health professionals during this unusual period of coronavirus.

Madrid was on a temporary lockdown but the rise of death toll to 11,744 in Spain has forced Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to announce an extension for coronavirus lockdown until April 25.
