GPL- Hearts vs Kotoko postponed to 04:00 GMT as Accra Sports Stadium await President
Both Asante Kotoko and Heats of Oak have completed their warm-up sessions waiting for their clash to begin 03:00 GMT but there was a latest development to shift the game forward by an hour as the Stadium await President Nana Akfu-Addo.
The President of the nation has reportedly not arrived at the Accra Sports- a condition unmatching kickoff of the Presidential Cup. To meet his arrival, the game has been shifted forward as both teams wait in the dressing room while supports wait in the stands.
Asante Kotoko were defeat 2-1 in last season’s Presidential Cup as they seek for a revenge this afternoon. Before loss to Hearts last term, Kotoko had won it two consecutive times all against Hearts of Oak, and on penalties.
