Ghana boss Otto Addo reunites with family after Black Stars poor World Cup campaign

Coach Otto Addo has reunited with his wife and kids in Germany after the Black Stars elimination from the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Addo led the West African nation to its fourth World Cup appearance in Qatar after failing to qualify to the 2018 edition in Russia.

Ghana suffered an elimination from the ongoing World Cup in Qatar after losing 2-0 to Uruguay in the final group H game at the Al Janoub Stadium on Wednesday.
The 47-year-old trainer announced his decision to resign from his role as the Black Stars coach after failing to make it to the knockout stage of the mundial.
Addo won four games during his time with the Black Stars, beating Madagascar and South Korea in competitive games with the other victories coming against Nicaragua and Switzerland in friendlies.
He was named Ghana’s head coach in February after the sacking of Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac following a disastrous campaign at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
