Blessing the MLS: Latif Blessing delights after New England Revolution win over CF Montreal

Ghanaian International Latif Blessing has expressed his delight following his dazzling performance for New England Revolution in their 4-0 victory over CF Montreal in the Major League Soccer (MLS) on Sunday dawn.

Blessing, who was on the field for 62 minutes, made an impressive impact with 57 touches on the ball, completing 41 out of 43 passes, and winning 11 ball recoveries and seven ground duels. He also created three chances and made two successful tackles, with one shot on target.

After the game, Blessing took to Instagram to express his feelings, stating, “It was a great win, and we got the three points. Thank you for your support.”

Although Blessing’s performance was exceptional, it was Dylan Borrero who opened the scoring for New England in the 21st minute, with Carles Gil adding a second just before the break. Bobby Wood scored the third goal in the 50th minute before Blessing was substituted by Noel Buck in the 62nd minute. Giacomo then wrapped up the scoring with a goal in the 86th minute.

The win takes New England to second place in the MSL Eastern table with 16 points. Blessing has featured in four games for New England this season and has scored once.
