Spezia set to offer Emmanuel Gyasi new contract

Italian top-flight club, Spezia are keen on extending the contract of Ghanaian attacker Emmanuel Gyasi.

Both parties are yet to begin talks but the club is confident Gyasi would accept whatever offer they put on the table.

Gyasi has less than a year remaining on his current with the Serie A new boys. His contract will expire on May 2021.

But the club have been impressed by his performance so far this season and want to reward him with an extension.

Gyasi is yet to open his season account but has already provided two assists in seven games thus far.

He works hard and is more focused on the team’s success instead of personal glory.

Gyasi joined Spezia in 2017 from Italian third division club, Pistoiese.

The 26-year-old played a key role in Spezia’s historic qualification to the Serie A last season.

He has pledged his international future to Ghana despite being born in Palermo.
