Match Preview- Hasaacas Ladies vs Ampem Darkoa, Team News, Predicted Lineups & TV Coverage First Lady’s Cup

In Ghana, another women football action on board as Ghanaian champions Hasaacas Ladies will lock horns again with Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the inaugural First Lady’s Cup this afternoon at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.

The first lady of the land, Her Excellency, Madam Rebecca Akuffo Addo is the main organiser for this event following the pace and suit of Nigeria’s Aisha Buhari who organised hers months ago with a bit of some significant differences.

The ‘Hasmal Ladies who finished as winners of the Southern Zone and subsequently the overall champions in the Women’s topflight, will come up against the ‘Nana Mma’ girls who also conquered the Northern Zone last season.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies definitely will be seeking for nothing but a revenge this time having already lost to them on three occasions this year.

They were denied the opportunity to win the double thus the Women’s Premier League and FA Cup all because of the presence of Hasaacas who clinched all in the previous campaign after humbling in all those two finals.

Just recently, in the maiden edition of the Women’s Super Cup of which again the ‘Dooo’ girls won, they edged out Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the semis en route to that glory.

The champions will be hoping to again claim the First Lady’s trophy by the close of the day to clinch their fourth domestic trophy and five in general in the year 2021

Team News

Nine players combined from both teams will be missing in action today since they are currently in the camp of the Black Princesses who are preparing against Zambia in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

With Hasaacas Ladies, young goalkeeper Diana Maaweremou is likely to keep the post in the absence of first choice Grace Banwaa following her exploits just recently.

On the opposition end, Ampem Darkoa Ladies will definitely be relying greatly on their target-girl Mary Amponsah who finished as joint-top scorer in the just ended Women’s Super Cup with 5 goals so as the competition’s most promising star Latifa Abesik.
