David Abagna scores in Arab Club Champions Cup as Al Hilal reach finals

Ghana international David Abagna scored the only consolation goal for Al-Hilal Omdurman on Monday evening when the team played against Manama Club.

The Sudanese giants played as a guest to the Bahraini professional football club in a second-leg encounter of the Arab Club Champions Cup semi-finals.

For Al-Hilal, the team went into the contest with a huge advantage having won the first leg 3-0 at home.

In the reverse fixture this evening, Ghana midfielder David Abagna started for the Sudanese side and gave his team the lead after just 23 minutes into the first half.

Unfortunately, his team could not hold onto the lead as the home side completed a comeback before the break.

Goals from Ibrahim Moosa and Al Khatal inspired Manama club to secure a 2-1 win at the end of the 90 minutes.

With a 4-2 aggregate win, David Abagna and his Al Hilal side are through to the finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup.
