Ghana jersey numbers for 2022 World Cup confirmed as Andre Ayew maintains no.10 shirt

The Black Stars’ squad numbers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup has been revealed as captain Andre Ayew maintains his no.10 jersey. The skipper will be assisted by Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, Southampton’s Salisu Mohammed, Inaki  Williams in attempt to fire the Black Stars into glory in the 2022 World Cup.

Ghana commenced preparations for the upcoming World Cup on Tuesday, 15th November, 2022 in Abu Dhabi, UAE with the twenty-six (26) players announced by Coach Otto Addo.

England based duo Tariq Lamptey and Salisu Mohammed will be wearing no.2 and no.4 for their first-ever major tournament for the senior national team of Ghana.
Also, Inaki Williams who switched his international allegiance to play for Ghana will be donning the no.19 shirt while Club Brugge’s Kamal Sowah and Salis Abdul Samed of RC Lens takes no. 21 and no.24 respectively.
Ghana Premier League stars Daniel Afriyie Barnieh of Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko shot-stopper Ibrahim Danlad will be appearing in no.12 and no.13 at the global showpiece.
The Black Stars have opened camp today in Abu Dhabi and will take on Switzerland in a friendly game on November 17 before arriving in Doha on November 19.
Ghana will begin their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign against Portugal on November 24 before taking on South Korea and Uruguay in Group H.
