EXCLUSIVE: Preußen Munster fans support Ghanaian Leroy Kwadwo’s action towards racist abuse in German league match

Preußen Munster fans show an incredible fight against racism while defending opposite player; while chanting “Nazis out” to defame the racist.

European football’s biggest enemy is definitely racism, while the UEFA are unable to find the right policies to curb racism inside stadiums since a while.

Moreover, there have been fans who have defended the instances by claiming it to be an attempt to intimidate the opposition and not doing “actual racism” and is a part of the culture.

But on the other side, a German club’s fans made an inspiring step to defeat racism at their own home stadium. Preußen Munster was playing Wurzburger Kickers in the third tier German league match.

A fan reportedly hurled racist slurs towards Leroy Kwadwo, a Ghanian football player. When other fans saw it, they alerted security, who escorted the man out. Then, as opposing players came to hug Kwadwo, the entire stadium stood up and chanted “Nazis Out!”. As described by journalist Muhammad Lila.

Definitely, an incredible display by the fans of Preußen Munster, who displayed zero tolerance towards their fellow fan and took a moral stand against the disgraceful act.

This should definitely work as a lesson for the fans of other clubs, who often silence themselves or doesn’t take appropriate steps against fellow supporters who involve themselves in such acts.

Recently, in a match between Manchester City and Manchester United, a fan of the former was allegedly spotted throwing racial slurs at Manchester United midfielder Fred.

Then a few days later Antonio Rudiger was allegedly racially abused by few Tottenham hotspur fans, to which Spurs said that they don’t have adequate pieces of evidence to charge their fans.

Thus, the acts of racism are present till the top parties of European football, so this act by Preußen Munster fans should work as a lesson to learn by the authorities and fans of other clubs.
