Three new players to be invited by interim Ghana coach Otto Addo for Nigeria clash

Interim Black Stars coach Otto Addo will be naming three new players in his squad for the World Cup playoff against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Borussia Dortmund scout and talent trainer is set to announce his squad for the upcoming games and it’s understood that there would be three new faces in the team.

Most of the players from the Africa Cup of Nations are part of the team, with a few dropped due to inactivity and injury.

Winger Kamaldeen Sulemana remains a doubt for the double header due to an injury he suffered at Stade Rennais while captain Andre Ayew and Benjamin Tetteh serve suspensions.

Thomas Partey will be leading the team as captain in the absence of Ayew while there is a return for second deputy skipper Richard Ofori.

The Black Stars will hosts Nigeria in the first leg on March 25 at a yet-to-be confirmed stadium after the Cape Coast stadium was left in a sorry state following the Independence Day parade.

Nigeria will hosts Ghana four days later in Abuja.
