Kotoko new signings Mfegue Omgba and Mbella Etouga fly from Cameroon to join new teammates in Dubai pre-season
Kotoko have signed Mfegue Omgba and Mbella Etouga from Cameroonian outfits Avion FC and AS Fortuna respectively with the Ghanaian side expected to make official announcement next as soon as possible.
The Ghanaian side have toured United Arab Emirates for pre-season and were handed 1-0 defeat in their first friendly game against third tier Al Hilal United last Thursday morning.
Their pre-season in Dubai has commenced without availability of new signings Mfegue and Etouga but Kotoko approach very close to having the Cameroonian Internationals in their pre-season.
The two forwards have departed their country Cameroon on Saturday evening for Dubai just a day before Asante Kotoko play their second pre-season game.
The Porcupine Warriors take on Liwa FC tomorrow evening as Mfegue and Etouga are expected to miss the clash.
Both players have signed three years each with Mfegue coming in as the second top second top scorer in Cameroonian top flight last season.
The 24-year-old scored 10 goals and has a total 26 goals for Avion across three seasons in the Cameroonian league.
Etouga meanwhile netted 8 goals and provided 9 assists in 21 appearances last campaign helping his side AS Fortuna top Group A of the Cameroonian zonal league.
The two strikers are expected to begin training with their new teammates from Tuesday.
