Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Nsoatreman FC sign Burkina Faso midfielder Faycal Traore

Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Nsoatreman Football Club has completed the signing of Burkina Faso International Faycal Traore.

With the former Division One side gaining promotion to the Ghanaian top flight this season, Nsoatreman have decided to strengthened their setup to match the demand of the Ghana Premier League.

Asante Kotoko won the title last season and will be hoping to defend it this term with new comers Kotoku Royals, Samartex 1996 and Nsoatreman FC will stand the might of the champions.

The new side have been aware of the huge competition they will face in the new challenge if they are to escape relegation and remain in the Ghana Premier League. They have already strengthened the squad that eventually won Ghana Premier League ticket with the Burkina International the latest to join Nsoatreman FC.

Faycal Traore, who draws inspiration from Real Madrid icon Luka Modric has joined the newly promoted club until 2025.

The Burkinabe has signed a three-year deal and is expected help the club achieve their targets in the coming season.

He previously played for Salitas FC, which has recently become one of the most popular teams in Burkina Faso due to its ultramodern facilities and academy.

The 21-year-old passed his mandatory medical exam and has begun training with Nsoatreman.

After the released of the Ghana Premier League fixtures, Nsoatreman begins the debut season with a tough away game against Asante Kotoko before they host Bibiani Gold Stars in their first home game.

Nsoatreman will have to play beyond their capacity against Asante Kotoko before they can settle for a good score line at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Kotoko have strengthened their squad despite letting go some key men Fabio Gama, Imoro Ibrahim and Mudasiru Salifu.

But the signing of Faycal Traore who has impressed Nsoatreman technical staff will be crucial not only for their opening game against Ghana’s best club but the season as a whole. Nsoatreman are believed to be eyeing further signings.
