Kotoko announce Cameroonian forward Mbella Etouga and George Mefegue transfers

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of Cameroonian forward Mbella Etouga and compatriot George Mefegue Rodriquez.

The signing is on the back of successful negotiations between officials of the Porcupine Warriors club as well as the representatives and officials of AS Fortuna where he played, that is for Mbella Etouga.

The new forward joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal and will be expected to provide a squad boost to help the club win titles in the 2021/2022 football season.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Cameroonian U-20 forward Mbella Etouga. The 20yr old joins us on a three-year deal from AS Fortuna in the Cameroonian top-flight. #WelcomeEtouga #AKSC #TogetherWeCan,” a statement on the Twitter page of Asante Kotoko has said today.

In addition to, Mbella Etouga, Asante Kotoko has also signed prolific striker Mefegue Omgba Georges Rodrigue.

Both players are in Dubai with the team for the pre-season training camp before the start of the 2021/2022 Ghanaian football season.

On Mefegue’s transfer, the Cameroonian has signed a three year deal as the club announced twitter;
