Dele Alli is the first Tottenham player to break silence on Pochettino’s sack.
Though Alli is the not the only Tottenham or Pochettino-attached personality to show regret or any form of surprise to the Argentine’s departure after five years of stay with the London club, with club legends Gary Lineker and Jermaine Jenas expressing their bitters on twitter.
However, Dele Alli who is the first player for Tottenham to send emotional message to Pochettino on twitter, thanking his former boss for what he has done for him. Alli also wished the boss a good-luck where ever he goes.
Two hours after the announcement of the Argentine’s sack, Alli wrote on his twitter handle, “I can’t thank this man enough”.
“He’s taught me so much and I’m so grateful for everything he’s done for me.
“Good luck and hope to see you again my friend.”
Tottenham take on West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday 12:30pm.
