Black Stars hold first training session Monday in France ahead of Brazil friendly

The Black Stars opened camping Monday ahead of the first international break of the 2022/23 season and held their first training session at their base, France.

Currently, 23 players arrived yesterday and all took part in today’s training session at Le Stade du Commandant Herbert under the tutelage of head coach Otto Addo and his other assistants.

Skipper Andre Ayew, his brother Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Jojo Wollacott, Joseph Aidoo, Iddrisu Baba, inform Mohammed Kudus and the likes took part in today’s warm up.

Also, newbies Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Stephen Ambroisius and Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer all took part in the training.
However, English-based duo of Daniel Amartey and Mohammed Salisu are expected to join camp today Tuesday so as young striker Felix Afena-Gyan and goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
The team is looking to get themselves well gelled and prepared for the Brazil game and subsequently the World Cup which is scheduled for November this year.
Ghana is housed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and two time world champions Uruguay.
The friendly against the five time world conquerors is slated for Friday, September 23, at the Stade Oceane Le Havre.
