Wa All Stars capture Abdul Bashiru from Kosovo side Prishtina FC

Wa All Stars, Ghana Premier League side have completed the signing of former Dreams FC captain Abdul Bashiru from Kosovo side FC Prinshtina.

Abdul Bashiru joined Kosovo side Prishtina FC from Ghana Premier League’s Dreams FC last two seasons ago where he spent 2 seasons with Prishtina. Abdul Bashiru was splendid in his debut season that saw him nominated for the best left back award in the 2017-2018 season.

But the former Dreams FC captain has been without a club since July this year, and Wa All Stars have secured his services this term. The 2016 Ghana Premier League winners have had change in administrative structure of the club after a successful take-over from former GFA President Akwesi Nyantakyi.

The Wa based club is preparing for the Ghana Premier League 2019-2020 season which the 27 year old Bashiru have been training with john Paintsil’s side for some time. With his impressive trails, Bashiru have earned a permanent deal with Wa All Stars which will see him feature in the upcoming season.

Bashiru’s signing adds him to the new All Stars following the take-over of the club from former GFA President Akwesi Nyantakyi by John Paintsil.

 

Meanwhile, the former Black stars defender has warmed the general public of anyone who claims ownership of the Wa based side. The warning came following rumours that member of Parliament Haruna Idrrisu have officially owned All Stars.

“We warned persons still parading themselves as communications and managements of WA All Stars. My lawyers are on standby and any persons who purports to act on behalf of WA all stars will be dragged to court henceforth. I don’t want to mention names but whoever want to dare should try”, he told ATINKA SPORTS.

Black Stars keeper Fatau Dauda is also training with the Wa based side, he could also secure a permanent deal with paintsil’s side.
