Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko on Wednesday afternoon hammered Kenpong Football Academy 5-0 in a friendly encounter staged at the Atonsu AstroTurf grounds.

The Porcupine Warriors club is the most in-form club in the country after winning all four matches in the Ghana Premier League since the 2021/2022 campaign commenced.

As part of preparations for the next match against Karela United, Asante Kotoko today played against Kenpong Football Academy, a team on tour in the Ashanti Region.

On the back of a very good exercise for the Porcupine Warriors, the team cruised to a big 5-0 win courtesy of goals from Evans Adomako, Stephen Amankona, Dickson Afoakwa, Solomon Sarfo Taylor, and Mbella Etouga.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum used today’s friendly to assess some of the players yet to enjoy more minutes in the Ghana Premier League.

He has been working on the lads to ensure every player will be ready to help the team when called upon in any of the upcoming matches in the Ghana Premier League.
